What data we process and why
- Contact form and e-mail. When you write to us via the website form or by e-mail, we process your name, e-mail address and the content of your message so that we can reply. We keep messages for the time needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up communication.
- Tickets. Ticket sales are handled by the Smsticket portal (smsticket.cz). Data entered during purchase is processed by the portal operator under its own privacy policy and terms and conditions. From the portal we only receive the data needed to check you in at the entrance.
- Volunteers, stallholders and performers. We process the contact details of people interested in cooperation for the purpose of organising the festival, for the duration of the preparation and running of the given year.
- Photographs and video recordings. The festival is a public cultural event. We take photographs and video recordings on the grounds to document and promote the festival (website, social media, press materials). The legal basis is the organiser’s legitimate interest. If you do not wish to appear in a particular published photograph, write to us; we will review the photograph and remove it where appropriate.
Cookies and third-party services
- Technical cookies. The website only stores the choice you made in the cookie banner (consent or refusal). Without it, the banner would appear repeatedly. The website itself sets no analytics or advertising cookies.
- Google Maps. The practical information page embeds a Google map. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies under its own policies.
- Chatbot. The website offers a chat guide. Questions asked in the chat are processed on the chatbot service provider’s server in order to generate a reply; do not enter sensitive personal data into the chat.
- Social media. Links to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube lead to external platforms which apply their own policies once opened.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@lughnasad.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
